Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f)

The Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of the gamigo group BI team with a focus on analysis and reporting. Primary day-to-day responsibilities will require using data to perform analyses and produce reports that drive immediately impactful decisions. You will have the opportunity to work alongside leadership teams in Marketing, Customer Support, Finance and Product. Your projects will unlock new insights into our business and inform business decisions at the highest levels of leadership.

This role requires a balanced focus on growth, innovation, operations and process improvement, with a unique focus on data analytics. Effectively translating data insights into proposed clear, logical, and motivating actions to present to senior leaders. Success in this role requires an analytical mindset, curiosity, and a love of solving data problems and learning new things.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing software company, and has experience with reporting aggregation from multiple data sources. The candidate is a collaborative problem solver who looks to find high-leverage areas of the business to use data to drive improved business outcomes.


Your responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to collect, analyze, define, and document requirements for reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics
  • Build and maintain effective dashboards, visualizations, reports, and analytics using Tableau technologies
  • Participate in Data Warehouse (DWH) design and development: define new data sets, identify changes to existing data sets
  • Provide end user support/guidance on best practices and approaches to design/implement effective, standardized dashboards and analytics
  • Acquire and analyze new data sources to inform new analytics development
  • Provide timely execution of assigned tasks in an agile development environment


Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Finance, Statistics or equivalent track-record
  • Proven success functioning in a BI Analyst role
  • Significant experience working with key stakeholders across several departments
  • Willingness to learn and use different Business Intelligence tools and technologies
  • Strong SQL skills as well as proficiency with any reporting tool (Tableau, Qlink, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of major scripting languages (Python, Java script, etc)
  • Proficiency in English
