PC Game Developer (m/f)

To enhance our team at our location in Berlin at the earliest opportunity, we are looking for a

PC Game Developer (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with other team members to maintain and develop the game further in the best possible way
  • Work on a very large code base of a mature and well established MMORPG; developing and improving the game’s tools and the game itself which consists of a single client application and several backend processes
  • Support our game designer to help with creating patches by using the game's tools
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Analyze code and write documentation, create visualizations using UML2


Your qualifications:

  • You are a developer with at least 1 year of experience developing online games or applications, ideally with at least one shipped product
  • You have worked with version control systems (CSV, SVN or GIT)
  • You are experienced in developing with a Win32 based software stack including C++ (MFC, DirectX, Multithreading, etc.) and MSSQL (queries and stored procedures)
  • You know about database concepts and cope with MSSQL (or TSQL)
  • You know how to use the following tools or IDEs: Visual Studio 2008 Pro, MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
