Game Developer (m/f)


Your tasks:

  • Implement new features and bugfixes for our major MMOs
  • Supervise and guide other (Junior-)Developers working on the products and help them to solve problems
  • Refactor and optimize existing code
  • Discuss strategies and define the development schedule together with the product team
  • Develop tools for the product team to manage and maintain the games


Your profile:

  • Experienced in developing Windows Software with C++ in Visual Studio as well as ANSI C++ for Linux servers
  • Familiar with modern development concepts such as continuous integration, pair-programming and code reviews
  • Experienced in developing games with modern game engines (beneficial: experience with Unreal Engine 3 / 4)
  • Basic knowledge of the Linux shell, ssh and virtual machines
  • Experienced in (My-)SQL, generic client-/server applications, and version control systems as well as issue trackers such as Git, Jira, Mantis or similar
  • Beneficial is gaming experience as a player in MMOs and RPGs as well as the knowledge of other programming and markup-languages such as C#, Java, XML, HTML or CSS
  • Analytic and conceptionalized thinking
  • Success oriented and goal-driven team player
  • Self-managed workflow and the ability to solve problems when they arise
  • Open minded and willing to extend the own skillset continuously
